He is survived by: his children, Doug, Jr. (Kim) and Dana Zimmerman (Scott); and his grandsons, Morgan Sloan, Dylan Sloan and Jared Zimmerman.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Berryhill Funeral Home (2305 Memorial Pkwy NW, Huntsville, AL 35810). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
