She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilburn Barnard and Cora Barnard; her sister Wilma; and her pet Molly. She is survived by: her children, Karen Allison (Peter), Douglas Leachman (Esther), Christi Jean Leachman and Kim Sanderson (Eric); her grandchildren, Sherye Letson (Billy), Allen Leachman, Christina Stewart (Justin), Lauren Allison, Christopher Allison, Lydia Jean Allison, Joshua Roberts, Ryan Sanderson, Emily Sanderson and Sarah Kate Sanderson; her great grandchildren, Dylan Brantley, Brayden Letson, Camden Letson, Lucas Stewart and Bryson Stewart; and her pet Bruno.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 24th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Berryhill Funeral Home (2305 Memorial Pkwy NW, Huntsville, AL 35810). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 24th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
Donations may be made in her honor to Clearview Cancer Institute.
