In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy David Edward leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though David Edward may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his father Gerald Davenport; and his grandparents, Leroy, Stella Goodin, Alvis and Effie Nora Davenport.
He is survived by: his mother Dorothy Goodin Davenport Cater (Jim); his daughters, Kendall Davenport and Dacy Davenport; his former wife Kelley Baugher Davenport; his sister Pamela Chandler (Greg); and his half-siblings, Jennifer Davenport and Kevin Davenport. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 6:50 PM at the Limestone Chapel Funeral Home (322 US-31, Athens, AL 35611). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
