He is survived by: his children, David Rutledge (Nichole) and Kim Taylor (Bryan); his son-in-law Charles Whisenant; his grandchildren, Daniel Johnston (Mollie), Courtney Pardue (Shane), Kasi Schultze (Bill), Jordan Young (Bryan), Sydney Spencer (Jacob), Brooke Mahathey (Dale), Drew Whisenant (Taylor) and Matt Whisenant; his great grandchild Helen Young; and his grandchildren, Ezra Schultze, Victoria Young, Luke Johnston, Landon Spencer, Everett Whisenant, Avery Kate Mahathey and Ryan Pardue.
