Clyde Edsel touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He is survived by: his wife Martha McPherson Evans; his children, David Keith Evans (Carol), James Douglas Evans (Mary) and Deborah Brown (Nathan); and his grandchildren, Keith Evans (Kathryn), Hillary Evans, Christa Hudalla (Billy), James Brown (Roxi), Mary Haney (Nick) and Jincy Jennings (Matthew). He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM. A memorial service was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at the Central Church of Christ (407 Clinton Ave E, Huntsville, AL 35801).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Auburn Christian Student Center.
