With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carol K. Genet of Huntsville, Alabama, born in Hesperia, Michigan, who passed away on March 2, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She is survived by: her husband Harry Genet; her children, Brad (Sandy) of Huntsville, AL, Brenda Staufer (David) of Arlington, TN and Bresca Gagnon of Bedford, NH.; her grandchildren, Becca Hanson (Phil), Abby Oren (Bion), Emily Wicker (Ben), Kyle, Grant, Gabrielle Staufer, Aster and Fern Gagnon; her great grandchildren, Elanor, Erika Oren, Lucy Wicker and Lena Hanson; and her brother Dr. Lowell Smalligan (Mary).
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 10th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the College Church (332 E Seminary Ave, Wheaton, IL 60187). A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 10th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
