He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Riester; his daughter Cecilia Riester; his brother William H. Riester III; his niece Amanda Riester; his nephew Alex (Kaitlyn Riester); and his great-nephew William Foss Riester.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Laughlin Service Funeral Home (2320 Bob Wallace Ave SW, Huntsville, AL 35805). A rosary was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 9:30 AM at the Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church (1201 Kingsbury Ave SE, Huntsville, AL 35801). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
