He was predeceased by: his parents, Bradis Edward "Bill" and Verda Meadows Walker of Jackson, Mississippi.; his wife Sylvia Hunt Walker; and his brother Charles L. Walker. He is survived by: his daughter Emily Cook (Will) of Madison; his grandchildren, Jackson William Cook, Sarah Grace Cook, Davis Walker Cook of Madison and John Richard Walker (Amanda) of Brandon, Mississippi; and his sister-in-law Majel Dean (Jesse) of Osyka.
