She was predeceased by: her husband Ira Payne Jones; the father of her children Donald H Byrd; and her sons, John Emerson Byrd, William Garet Byrd (Bill) and Charles Christian Byrd (Chris).
She is survived by: her children, Dinah Porch (Marty) and Donald L. Byrd (Patricia) of Huntsville; her stepchildren, Gina Jones Collins (Joe) of Ft Lauderdale, FL and Stokes Jones (Anne-Marie) of Dadeville, AL; her grandchildren, Anderson Byrd (Hannah) of Huntsville, Victoria Mason Villa (Alfredo) of Reno, NV, Lauren Byrd of Atlanta, GA, Tristan Zietara (Ben) of Los Angeles, CA and Christian Garet Byrd of Canton, GA; and her great grandchildren, Anakin and Cora Byrd of Huntsville.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Presbyterian Church (307 Gates Ave SE, Huntsville, AL 35801). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 12:30 PM.
