He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie Lee Sims and Anna Ruth Blankenship Sims; his wife Gale Sims; and his daughter Stephanie Sims. He is survived by: his children, William Laron Sims (Renae) and Karen Alexander; his grandchildren, Tyler Sims, Taylor Sims, Heather Allen (Ben) and Randy Alexander (Kelli); and his great grandchildren, Tailyn, Easton, Gunter, River and Emmie Lou.
