She was predeceased by: her parents, James Hancock and Myrtle Hancock; her sister Faye Masters; and her husband Aubrey "Sam" Haley. She is survived by: her sister Gloria Powell; her daughters, Sheila Dashoff and Cinda "Cid" Haley; her son-in-law Steve Lewis; and her grandson Mitchell Dashoff.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Sherwood Baptist Church (6600 Old Madison Pike, Huntsville, AL 35806).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that charitable donations be made to Sherwood Baptist Church or the Dementia Society of America, organizations that held significance for Betty and her family.
