With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Tommy Lee Hammonds (Hueytown, Alabama), who passed away on February 10, 2019 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Maycie Thompson Hammonds and Alvin "Scrutch" Hammonds; his sisters, Ruth Hammonds Thigpen (George) and Myra Hammonds Eubank (Red); and his daughter Roxanne Hammonds Waid Ramey (Brian).
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Earley Hammonds; his daughter Rebecca Hammonds Parker (Jerry); his grandchildren, Doug Parker (Thea), Amanda Parker McLellan (Mark), John Waid (Shelby) and Carol Ann Waid; and his great grandchildren, Brynnlee Tissier, Jolene Waid, Mason McLellan and Leighton Waid. He is also survived by great grandchildren, his many nieces, nephews and close friends.
