With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Timothy Albert Dennis (Hueytown, Alabama), who passed away on September 24, 2024 at the age of 65. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Dennis and Frances Dennis; his sister Christy Smith; his brother-in-law Jeff Brasher; and his nephew Austin Brasher.

He is survived by: his significant other Pam; his children, Lauren Wakefield (Samuel) and Lindsey Hoggle; and his grandchildren, Will, Hallie Wakefield and Raleigh Hoggle.

In lieu of flowers, donations towards PopPop's Pier will be accepted via Venmo @InmemoryofTimDennis.

“I still find this hard to believe. As our new neighbors I had started talking with Tim right after he moved in, and discovered that he was best friends with my cousin, Rusty Morris. We just talked at length about those early years in Bessemer and how much we had in common. Tim had been working so hard around his house getting it fixed just like he wanted it for his kids and grandkids and we talked a lot in passing. May God comfort the family as they have to learn to cope with his loss.”
