He was predeceased by: his wife Linda McGuffie Southall; his son Scott Southall; his parents, William Southall and Valerie Southall; and his siblings, Joel, Don, Morris Southall, Juanita Robertson, Alla Anderson and Gloria Bishop.
He is survived by: his children, Kathy Busby and Tommy Southall; and his granddaughters, Lelia and Leanna Busby. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
