With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sara Jean Salter Jennings (Hueytown, Alabama), who passed away on May 31, 2018. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Wallace Eugene Jennings, Sr.; and her siblings, James Benton Salter, Herbert T. Salter, Jr. and Erma Louise Salter Lawson. She is survived by: her children, Sara Bearden (Lee), Mary Jennings, Emily Douglass (Allen) and Gene Jennings, Jr (Nancy); her grandchildren, Katie Jennings Campbell (Jason), Dan Jennings (Amanda), Nick Bearden (Lindsey) and Alex Waldrop (Marissa); and her great grandchildren, Brianna McFerrin, Tillman Campbell and Lila Jean Campbell. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other loved family and friends.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be given to the Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church.
