Her family paid this tribute to her, "when you speak of her, speak not with tears, for thoughts of her should not be sad. Let memories of the times you shared give you comfort. She was preceded in death by her husband Clayton Norris; father Thomas Smith; sister Kathy Pierce and her nephew Stevie Lowery. She leaves behind to cherish her memories, her sons Clayton Norris (Angela), and Brian Norris; mother Jewel Smith; sister Diane Terrell (John); brother Randy Smith (Tina); and a host of nieces and nephews along with other family members. The memorial service will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to River Road Baptist Church, 3352 Warrior River Road, Hueytown, Alabama 35023.
