She is survived by: her husband William Higgins; her daughters, Rhonda Brinton (Mark) and Jennifer Sandlin (Russell); and her grandchildren, Stephen Sandlin, Kelli Sandlin, Ashley Brinton Harrolle (Jeff), Laura Brinton and Amy Brinton Summers (Harry).

The family wishes donations in her memory be made to the Loaves and Fishes Ministry at Concord Baptist Church.
