We are sad to announce that on November 27, 2024, Richard Louis Grimes of Hueytown, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Richard shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Richard farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his wife Carolyn. He is survived by: his children, Richard Grimes (Holly), David Grimes and Megan Hopkins; his granddaughters, Sarah Grace and Hannah Faith; and his sister Carol Fox (Mitch).
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery (1343 Hueytown Rd, Hueytown, AL 35023).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Big Oak Ranch, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Hueytown First Methodist Church.
