She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Beamon and Bobbie Jean Headrick. She is survived by: her husband Larry D. Thornton; her daughters, Amy Griffin (Lellwyn) and Kimberly Kruse; her grandchildren, Dalton, Nick Griffin, Zaylie and Makayla Kruse; her sisters, JoAnn Crim (James) and Denise Haskins (James); and her pets, Jack and Marley. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Bethlehem United Methodist Church (1491 Allison-Bonnett Memorial Dr, Hueytown, AL 35023). A memorial service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Bethlehem United Methodist Church, American Heart Association (heart.org) or American Diabetes Association (diabetes.org).
