With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Monica Sparks Thompson of Hueytown, Alabama, who passed away on January 9, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She is survived by: her husband Andy Thompson; her children, Mattie, Mallorie and Mitchell; her parents, Ronnie Sparks and Harriet Sparks; and her siblings, Melissa Sparks Banks, Pamela Sparks and Aaron Sparks. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and close friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Monica to Maytown Baptist Church Children's Ministry, 4679 Birmingport Rd, Maytown, AL 35118.
