She is survived by: her children, Douglas Smith, Jr., JoEllen Tomberlin, Michael Smith and Dianna Downs (Stephen); her brother Ben Simmons; and her grandchildren, Steven Wilkinson, Jordan Goad, Alexa MacBeth Drew Downs, Cooper Downs and Kinley Downs. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
