It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Martha Ann Payne of Hueytown, Alabama, born in Birmingham, Alabama, who passed away on April 26, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Poe and Dolly Poe; her husband Jim Payne; and her sisters, Gladys Bracknell (Charles) and Margaret Martin (Buddy).
She is survived by: her sons, Wade Payne (Jami) and Tommy Payne (Jeanine); her grandchildren, Casey Helms (Matt), Janet Walker (Chris), Karli Maloney (Pete) and Stephen Payne (Meredith); her grandson-in-law Joe; and her granddaughter Barbara Bowden. She is also survived by eleven great grandchildren — and a dear cousin.
