He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Lindsey and Troy Finley Lindsey; and his siblings, Maurice, Bob, Hovis, Herschel, Ruby Jo Bruce and Ann Lindsey.
He is survived by: his wife Gay Lynn; his daughter Laura Lindsey Bruner (Eric); his grandchildren, Annie, Eli and Liddy; his sister Maggie Brown of Lookout Mountain; and his friend Johnny Bartlett (Dude).
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Valley Creek Baptist Church Building fund.
