He was predeceased by: his parents, Jim P. Burks and Anne Burks; and his brother Jim Clay Burks. He is survived by: his siblings, Karen McCoy, John Burks (Connie) and Glenn Burks (Ramona). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers family requests that donations be made to Pleasant Ridge Baptist in memory of Keith.

“You truly have my heartfelt sympathies. Keith was one of my favorites. I will miss his hearty laugh and that singing that could light up a room. I especially loved the way he would tell everyone that I was his favorite......until I wasn't in the room and then he would tell all of the other ladies the same thing. When I caught him doing it, he laughed so hard. I loved Keith and so did we all. He will truly be missed.”
