He was predeceased by: his wife Florence Beasley; his parents, Riley Monroe and Nellie Vines Beasley; his granddaughter Candy Beasley; and his siblings, Frank Dates, Pete Date, Margaret Duncan and Mary Ramsey.
He is survived by: his children, Deborah Davis (Gerald), Ronald Joe Beasley, James Donald Beasley (Gena) and Janice Guy (Bobby); his grandchildren, Josh Beasley, Rachel Hancock (Caleb), April Guy, Jennifer Marsh (Cody) and Chris Straughn; and his great grandchildren, Christophe Stanley, Hannah Stanley, Hadleigh Hancock, Hudson Hancock, Jackson Guy, Tobias Marsh and Violet Straughn.
