He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Florence "Jake"; his grandson Michael Sean Campbell; his parents, Albert Campbell and Edith Campbell; and his sisters, Elizabeth Byram, Mary Brown McDonald, Doris Crowe and Susie Huey.

He is survived by: his son Thomas "Tom" Campbell (Katharine); and his grandson Patrick Steven Campbell (Emileigh). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
