He was predeceased by: his wife Vewey McDonald; and his grandson Dustin McDonald. He is survived by: his children, Helen Thomas, Linda McDonald, Sandy Dabbs (Jerry), Lee McDonald (Janet), David McDonald (Denise) and Terry McDonald. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; and 4 great-great grandchildren.
The family suggest in lieu of flowers that memorials be mad to the Union Hill Baptist Church Building fund.
