James Langley Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Langley (Hueytown, Alabama), who passed away on April 28, 2023 at the age of 81. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James Langley to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James Wiley and Beaulah Langley Hicks; and his siblings, Michael Langley, Kenneth Langley and Syble Crenshaw.

He is survived by: his wife Arlie June Whitson Langley; his daughters, Jennifer Langley (Erika) and Traci Nolan (Greg); his granddaughters, Kendall Nolan Howell (Colton), Courtney Nolan Beasley (Ben), Cassidy Nolan and Halle Nolan; his great grandchild Emerson Howell; his siblings, Terry Langley (Charlotte) and Kay Langley; and his sister-in-law Marilyn Langley.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests all donations be made to Warrior River Fire Department in Larry's name.

“A really good man gone much too soon. I had the pleasure of working with Larry for about 20 years at Ma Bell and we played dozens of rounds of golf... he was better. Larry's great personality served him well in work assignments. He was a friend to all and certainly to me.
