He is survived by: his children, James E. Fleming, Jr. (Denise) and Cheryl F. Amerson (David); his grandchildren, Mark Fleming, Luke Fleming (Whitney), Austin Amerson (Amanda), Alisa Fleming Holbert (Heath) and Blake Amerson; and his brother Robert Fleming (Melba). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church or the Alabama Baptist Children's Home.
