He was predeceased by: his parents, Herb Scott and Pauline Scott; and his daughter Kathy Milstead. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Lawrence Scott; his grandchildren, Katie Manderson (Cody) and Justin "J. T."; his brother Herb Scott; his uncle Gene; his aunt Faye Scott; and his sister-in-law Jean Jones (Steve). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
