He was loved and cherished by many people including: his adoptive father Leroy Holt; his parents, LeRoy Holt and Anne Holt; his stepmother Jo Holt; his sister Bettye Holt; his wife Valerie Holt; his children, Owen Holt (Julie), Kara Holt and Adam Long; his grandsons, Logan and Ethan Boyd; and his brothers, Bruce Holt, David Holt (Christy) and John Holt (Judy). He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
