He was predeceased by: his son Bradley Johnston. He is survived by: his wife Valeri Johnston; his children, Crisan Ayer (Hank), Corinne Schmidt (Kevin) and Brian Johnston; his granddaughter Melanie Schmidt; and his siblings, Ginger Pilgrim (Gary) and James Johnston (Liz). He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces and extended family.
