She was predeceased by: her husband Maurice Lee Brown; her parents, John Ollis Lantrip and Cleo Lena Morrison; and her siblings, Johnny Lantrip, Doug Lantrip, Lailah Smith and Jo Ann Waid.
She is survived by: her children, Sandra Self (Doug) and David Brown (Chris); and her grandchildren, Jacob Self (Lori) and Mary Emily Self.
A reception was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 at the Peoples Funeral Home (195 Brooklane Dr, Hueytown, AL 35023).
In lieu of flowers the family requests consideration of a donation to Westmont Baptist Church.
