He was predeceased by: his parent Mamie Ruth Jones; his foster mother Hattie Mae Simmons; and his grandmother Elmira Pennington. He is survived by: his children, Jeremiah Rashad (Jenequa) and Jerrica Alecia Jones (Roderick) of Washington; his wife Dr. Felecia Brooks-Jones; his son Minister Joshua Sharod Jones; his siblings, Alfred Jones (Deborah) of Birmingham, AL, Calvin Jones (Sylvia) of Adamsville, AL, Apostle Patricia Powell (Robert) of Anniston, AL and Ivy Jones of Birmingham, AL; his aunt Mattie Walker of New York, NY; and his brothers-in-law, Reverend Manasseh Hawkins (Felita) of Birmingham, AL, Carlton Brooks (Sonja) of Marriottsville, MD, Minster Stephen Brooks (Rose) of Fort Lauderdale, FL and Austin Brooks of Hueytown, AL. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
