He was predeceased by: his wife Cheryl Whitefield; and his son Carl. He is survived by: his children, Sherry Williams (Rodney) and Gary Callahan (Tracy); and his grandchildren, Ashley Callahan, Blake Callahan, Brittany Wilkinson (Dustin), Chelsea Rogers (Mitch), Dakota Roden, JP South Jr., Krissy Barton (Landon), Lee Callahan (Candace), Logan Williams and Skyler Davis. He is also survived by 20 great-grandchildren.
