He is survived by: his parents, Orvil Metheney and Icy Jarvis Metheney; and his wife Carolyn Malone Metheney. He is also survived by 4 grandsons and 3 great-grandsons (soon to have a fourth), 2 sisters, and lots of nieces and nephews.
