She was predeceased by: her husband Tommy Hammonds; her daughter Roxanne Hammonds Waid Ramey; her parents, Floice Carroll Earley and Dewey Earley; her siblings, D. L. Earley (Bobbie) and Gail Holmes; and her sister-in-law Ann Earley.
She is survived by: her brother Kenneth Earley; her children, Rebecca Rose Hammonds Parker (Jerry) and Hank Holmes (Lisa); her grandchildren, Doug Parker (Thea), Amanda Rose Parker McLellan (Mark), John Waid (Shelby) and Carol Ann Waid; and her great grandchildren, Brynnlee Rose Tissier, Jolene Waid, Mason McLellan and Leighton Waid. She is also survived by great grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews, and close friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Bessemer Brown Service Funeral Home (1300 4th Ave N, Bessemer, AL 35020). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
