We are sad to announce that on January 28, 2021, Bobbie Louise Dykes Kemp (Hueytown, Alabama), born in Birmingham, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lois Dykes Cook and Cary Carlos Dykes; her husband Eugene Kemp; her son Steve Kemp; and her sisters, Floree Cash and Jewel Turner.
She is survived by: her sister Anne Hunt (Smith); her daughter Kay Gassaway (Tom); her grandchildren, Lindsey Elmore and Jake Elmore (Lauren); her great grandchildren, Walker and Ty Elmore; and also Eugene Kemp. She is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, and longtime friends.
Given the pandemic, burial will be private, at Highland Memorial Gardens, with Elder Sam Bryant presiding.
