She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Moody and Letha Moody; and her husband Jim Clay Burks. She is survived by: her sons, Nathan Burks (Kaitlyn Carlton) and Travis of Hueytown; and her brother Roger Moody (Gene) of Hueytown.
In lieu of flowers the family ask donations be made to the Marietta Phillips Memorial Nursing Scholarship at Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church.
