With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Anthony Doss of Hueytown, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 17, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Pearlie Mae Doss and James David Doss; and his sisters, Wilma Pierce, Marie Doss, Ruby Walters, Estelle Penn and Ruth Harper.
He is survived by: his wife Deborah Williams Doss; his sons, Greg (Megan) and Jason (Carrie Barnhill); his stepson Bobby (Emily); his grandchildren, Rease, Gibson, Hunter (Marissa), Brendon (Haley), Rob, Caroline and Will; his great grandchild Colton; and his brother Bill. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Peoples Chapel Funeral Home (195 Brooklane Dr, Bessemer, AL 35023). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Alabama National Cemetery (3133 Hwy 119, Montevallo, AL 35115).
