He is survived by: his wife Anita Bedford Roper; his children, Cathy Mims (Larry) and Steven Roper (Shannon); his grandchildren, Kristin Douglass (Kevin), Corey Mims (Macy), Chandler Roper, Maxwell Roper and Major Roper; his great grandchildren, Makinley, Brinley, Evelyn, Walker and Waylon; and his brothers, David Roper (Susan) and Ronald Roper.
