She was predeceased by: her husband Roy H. Smith; her granddaughter Holly Ray Butler; her siblings, Edwin Cunningham, Geraldine Cunningham and Mamie Cunningham Hitt; and her son-in-law Jimmy Houts.
She is survived by: her daughters, Joy Houts and Judy Kelley; her grandchildren, Michele Houts Smith (Steve), Nicole Ray Bridier (Brent) and James Roy Houts (Chanda); and her sister Eunice Smith. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
