She was predeceased by: her husband Dallas Curry "Speedy" Payne; her parents, Houston Cockrell and Sarah Cockrell; her siblings, Wesley Cockrell, Travis Cockrell, Amos Cockrell, James Cockrell, Clarence Cockrell, Willie Howard, Pearl McBride and Ruby Kennedy; and her grandson Mark Payne.
She is survived by: her children, Dois Mae McGee, William Earl Payne, Edward Junior Payne and Thomas Malcolm Payne; and her grandchildren, Earl Payne, Rose Smitherman, Gwendolyn Ward, Wendy Collins, Curry Bell, James McGee, Shannon Payne, Dawn Payne, Tyson Payne, Derrick Payne, Helen Payne and Matthew Payne. She is also survived by 23 great grandchildren; and 7 great great grandchildren.
