He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Dewey Smith and Norma Helen Stewart Smith. He is survived by: his wife Janice Marie Gentry Smith; his sisters, Donna Irene Bartley and Susan Elizabeth Walker (Edward); his aunt Mary "Me Adda" Stewart Caminiti (Frank); his brothers-in-law, Curtis Gentry (Vera) and Ken Gentry (Janet); and his great-nephew Stewart. He is also survived by ten nieces and nephews.
