It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Junior Thomas of Houston, Alabama, who passed away on December 28, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Houston Thomas, Sr.; his wife Lorene Thomas; his children, Mike Thomas and Michelle Thomas Sissom; his sister Shirley Seitz; and his mother Myrtle Thomas.
He is survived by: his son Jerry Wayne Thomas; his brothers, Chester (Sherry) and Rickey Thomas; and his grandchildren, Kala Thomas, Adam Thomas (Erica), Crystal Cornelius (Brock), Erica Hamilton (Deshaun), Ethan Hayes (Rebecca), Ty Sissom (Riley), Eli Thomas and Safari Sissom. He is also survived by eleven great grandchildren; a host of friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lemley Funeral Chapel (6878 2nd Ave W, Oneonta, AL 35121). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
