He is survived by: his wife Wonda Pierce of Horton; his daughter Marti; his son-in-law Todd Jenkins of Albertville; his son John; his daughter-in-law Denise Pierce of Nixon Chapel; his grandchildren, Heaven Humpries, Echo Humpries, Hannah Kate Sims, Madelyn Sims, Emily Claire Jenkins, Nikki Mayes, Brittny Barnhill, Josh Jenkins, Katelyn Hitchcock, Laynna Beth Sims, Kalen Paige Sims, Marshall Kaine Sims, Shana Bowen, Brandi Bowen, Teyha White, Mark Bowen and Tyler Epperson; and his daughter Jamie Rae Pierce.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the McRae Funeral Home (99 Glenda Dr, Boaz, AL 35957). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the McRae Chapel (99 Glenda Dr, Boaz, AL 35957).
