He was predeceased by: his parents, Grover Lewis and Jewel Rose King; and his sister Joyce Watkins. He is survived by: his children, Joe Lewis, Lisa Jimenez (Marco), Kyle Lewis and Keith Lewis; his grandchildren, Emre Lewis, Myria Jimenez, Mallory Jimenez, Melina Jimenez and Zena Lewis; his sisters, Lou Ann Watson (Robert), Donna Ryan (Mike), Karen Broughton (Ben) and Terri Greer (Bob); his stepsister Janice Adams; and his niece Cheryl Ivey (Kennon).
