He was predeceased by: his parents, Reverend C. L. Drain and Ima Dell Drain; and his former wife Anne Evans Drain. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Drain; his daughters, Susan Kennedy (Randy) and Diane "Dee" Walker; his granddaughters, Grace Kennedy (Nathan McCoy) and CarolAnne Walker; his stepchildren, Jeff Brannon and Melanie Brannon Collier; his stepgrandchildren, Samantha Brannon, Rylei Collier Willingham (Michael) and Cody Collier; and also, Saylor Brannon, Turner and Tobyn Willingham.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Bethany Baptist Church (344 Bethany Rd, Horton, AL 35980).
