He is survived by: his wife Rosie Cook Dean of Horton; his sons, Jerry Dean, Jr. of Scottsboro and Casey Charles Dean of Horton; and his sister Sarah York of Georgia. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
