He is survived by: his wife Kathy Jo McAllister Downey; his children, Whitney LeAnn McAllister, Jordan Michelle Downey, Destiny Rena Downey and Adam Blake Downey; his siblings, Danny Gene Downey, Jackie D. Downey, Kenny Lee Downey, Michael L. Downey and Rita Bobbitt; and his grandson Aleck O'Dell. He is also survived by Several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
